Security Officer - Healthcare Site

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or patients while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and / or actions taken during the shift according to site protocols.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
