We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst / Accountant to join our team in Simpsonville, South Carolina. This hybrid role combines accounting expertise with analytical capabilities to support financial operations and strategic decision-making. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the wholesale distribution industry.
Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and monthly financial close processes.
- Maintain accurate records of rental revenues, intercompany transactions, and asset depreciation schedules.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and collaborate with auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance.
- Track and analyze fleet utilization, asset performance, and revenue metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Create dashboards and reports that highlight key performance indicators, including efficiency, margins, and partner contributions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies by providing financial insights and projections.
- Develop actionable insights using data analytics to assist leadership in decision-making processes.
- Manage property tax allocations and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
- Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting; experience in rental or start-up environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in asset management and strong knowledge of financial systems is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with ERP systems or BI tools is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
- Ability to create and interpret financial reports and dashboards to inform business decisions.
