Material Handling Coordinator
The Material Handling Coordinator will support the Molding business unit and be responsible for counting, issuing, staging, packaging, and storing of raw materials, sub components, finished goods, and supplies. This position will be required to help train new employees.
Shifts Available :
- 9th : 6 : 00 pm-6 : 00 am Thursday-Saturday, every other Sunday
Responsibilities
Count, inspect, issue, and stage material for production jobsTrain & mentor new employeesCount verification activities and inventory reconciliationPerform inventory movement including storing raw materials in ERP based locationsOrganize and cycle count raw material, sub components, finished goods, and suppliesAssist in other warehouse areas when requiredOperate : computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales, forklift, and other moving equipmentAdhere to all safety policies; including wearing personal protective equipment when requiredSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workPartner with other business segments : sales / marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and financeUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetingsMaintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence ProgramComplete all other work duties as assignedAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentQualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent3 years of material handling experience3 to 5 years experience utilizing an ERP system to track inventory movements throughout a facilityAbility to work in a manufacturing environment, around machinery that may be exposed to and around oils & solventsAbility to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documentsMechanical AptitudeDexterity and hand and eye coordinationMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskMaterial Handling Coordinator Preferred Qualifications :
CertificatesContinuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and / or organizationsPay Range
USD $18.89 - USD $24.95 / Hr.
Pay Range Details
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
