Job Description :

We are looking for a Production Art Expeditor to join our growing team at Pacesetter Awards, a NW Chicago based Industry Leader in the Awards & Corporate Recognition marketplace.

Job Responsibilities :

• Proof artwork to ensure it meets customer requirements and quality standards.
• Act as the final checkpoint, meticulously checking accuracy in all aspects of the artwork.
• Collaborate closely with the art department to maintain consistency in typography and design elements.
• Collaborate with customer service representatives to discuss additional information required from the customer.
• Verify that the artwork fulfills customer needs and aligns with the company's creative standards.
• Communicate effectively with the art team and other departments to resolve any discrepancies and ensure seamless workflow.
• Uphold proficiency in typography, contributing to the overall excellence of the artwork produced.
• Use graphic design software Illustrator and InDesign to create and refine artwork.

Training :

You will receive training aimed at mastering Illustrator and InDesign, with guidance from the production art supervisor and experienced production artists.

Preferred Skills :

Entry-level technical skills with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.

High reading comprehension with proficiency in English.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in proofing artwork.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with team members and clients.

Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Required Education and / or Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent qualification, preferring a bachelor's degree in a related field.
