Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide service, both emergency and preventive, to the X-ray, Vascular, Cardiac, CT, MRI, Nuclear, Ultrasound, film processing, and Mammography equipment located at the OhioHealth facilities.

Responsibilities

• 30% : Must process the skills necessary to evaluate a problem with a piece of imaging equipment and make the decision to service the unit themselves or call the appropriate service vendor to complete the repair.
• 30% : Must have the required theoretical knowledge in radiology equipment testing, calibration, and repair to effectively service our customer's needs.
• 20% : Must process effective written and verbal communication skills.
• 10% : Must be able to maintain a poised, professional, articulate image with both the internal and external customers.
• 10% : Must have a demonstrated knowledge of Health & Human Services and Department Radiation Health, State of Ohio Department of Health and Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations regarding radiological services, applicable codes, and standards.

Additional Job Description

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE (A. A. / A. S) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Electronics Engineering Technology; or two years related Experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of and Experience. Electronics school through the military is acceptable. Two years\' Experience with an Original Equipment Manufacturer in the X-ray / Imaging business. Must be fluent in the use of personal computers. some knowledge of computer networks would enhance the effectiveness of the individual, knowledge of Dicom. Minimum two years in an electronics repair related job.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES Troubleshooter, able to diagnose problems using the information at hand.
