Landfill Laborer

WasteConnections is looking for a safety conscience Landfill Laborer to join our team in Harper, Kansas.

PAY : $19 per hour working around 50 hours a week. Every hour after 40 is paid overtime.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Checking trucks in and out of the landfill and directing traffic at site as necessary.
• Manual laborincluding paper picking, keeping landfill clean and presentable.
• Perform yard work including cutting weeds.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs includingpaintingand janitorial work.
• Operating support equipment
• Working outside in all weather conditions.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
