ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
Function as a Surgery Circulator RN in a fast-paced surgical environmentCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure patient safety and procedural successDeliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care using the nursing processEnsure all necessary surgical equipment and supplies are prepared and availableParticipate in on-call rotation for emergency procedures and after-hours cases QualificationsJob Requirements : Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)Must maintain current Texas RN LicenseBLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CertifiedPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified (within 90 days of hire)Must participate in an on-call rotationMust reside within a 30-mile radius of the facility (to meet required response time for call shifts)Preferred Job Requirements : PACU, ICU, ER, or other acceptable acute care experience.
