Accounts Payable Clerk
Position Overview
A fast-growing team is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations. This is an immediate need due to increased workload and team expansion. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and comfortable supporting a wide range of tasks beyond routine data entry.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants to contribute to a small, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and process invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Perform invoice reconciliation and research past-due bills
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies
Approve expense statements and input account entries
Make deposits and maintain organized financial records
Assist with vendor setup and ensure compliance documentation is in place
Support cross-functional projects and step in when others are out
Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
1+ year of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role
High school diploma or GED (required)
Proactive, confident, and not above performing routine tasks
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to shifting priorities
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Experience with payroll or accounting software is a plus (not required)
Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
Pay Details : $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
