Job Summary and Qualifications
Participates in all aspects of the Occupational and Employee Health & Safety Program(s). Provides quality care to employees in accordance with corporate / hospital policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.Maintains a safe and therapeutic environmentPerforms pre-employment screenings, annual health screenings and tests, and immunizationsServes as the initial source of medical evaluation and reporting for employee work-related illnesses and injuries and assigns employee to appropriate level of care. Provides consultation and first aid and schedules therapy, rehabilitation, and / or work restrictions as needed.Serves as case manager for work-related exposure, injury, or illness. Evaluates and investigates all incidents, coordinates medical interventions and work absence / light duty assignments, and conducts follow-up to determine appropriate resolutionPromotes interdisciplinary approach for the identification, tracking, and resolution of employee health issuesMaintains all logs, periodic reports, employee files, and databasesProvides necessary employee health education on wellness initiatives, safe work practices, and occupational health programsMaintains all Work Comp and OSHA logs and any other regulatory reporting.Assumes accountability for promoting consistent, positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service.Performs other duties as assignedPractices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”About this Department :
