Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader Hrly role at H&R Block
You'll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. Using your people management experience and passion for helping people, you'll lead the customer-centric teams in the offices you manage to accelerate their seasonal tax business. You'll start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season and transition to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.
A Typical Day Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader , you'll :
- Provide leadership and development for associates across three tax offices
- Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve growth objectives for the offices
- Lead frontline teams, manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders
- Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets
- Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement
- Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
- Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center
- Build an engaging team environment through training, coaching, and recognizing contributions
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates
- Create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across all offices
- Travel between offices as required
- Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment
Your Expertise
People management experience with demonstrated ability to grow and develop associatesAptitude for executing growth plans and leading toward a growth cultureStrong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindsetComputer proficiency in MS OfficeBachelor's degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experienceSuccessful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)Why work for us
