Armed Security Officer - Financial Site

As an Armed Security Officer in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a financial institution location. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to situations as needed, all while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This armed position allows you to make a positive impact by supporting a secure environment and building strong relationships with clients and visitors. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and any issues encountered during patrols according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed in response to incidents at the location.
  • Maintain a visible armed presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and clients.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
