Overview
We have an exciting opportunity in the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Department. We are looking to build a world class EHS team here at Alcom USA. You will be working with a highly motivated and cross functional team to build a proactive Safety culture and execute exciting initiatives. The role of the EHS Coordinator is to conduct and manage various programs and activities in the EHS Department. We are looking for a self-starter with superior analysis and problem-solving skills ranging from simple to complex situations. This individual is expected to explain information and influence orders to secure successful implementation of EHS programs and directives as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and corporate safety & environmental policies and regulations.
- Facilitates monthly safety committee meetings
- Conducts safety audits and tracks corrective action
- Facilitates new hire safety orientation and compliance training.
- Investigates all safety related accidents and incidents.
- Maintains sites OSHA 300 and 300A log
- Manages site workers Compensation claims
- Primary contact for Environmental, Health & Safety compliance issues
- Work with plant leadership to improve understanding and promote safety culture
- Performs all other safety-related project work as directed.

Two-year degree in an EHS related field preferred, however, may considered multiple years of engaged work history.OSHA 30 Occupational Health & Safety certification preferred.Prefer safety work related experience within an industrial work environment specific to manufacturing or construction as well as multi-site locations.J-18808-Ljbffr
