HVACR Mechanic

Amentum is seeking an HVACR Mechanic for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award. The HVACR Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) systems. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of HVACR equipment and systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. This position involves engaging with customers to understand their needs and providing effective solutions, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of HVACR systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within HVACR systems and implement timely repairs.
• Supervise and train junior staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes.
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members, providing updates and recommendations on system operations.
• Conduct material take-offs from blueprints and prepare for installations and repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
