Job Brief
The Machinist II position is responsible for operating at least 1 line of production equipment (CNC / Conventional Mill / Lathe) in safe manner and in accordance with standard operating procedures with no direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a CNC machine
- Reviewing work orders, engineering drawings, surface locations, machining parameters; interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- Under no supervision sets tool registers and offsets; calculates requirements using basic math.
- Sets up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three and four jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers.
- Maintains specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts to close tolerances; adjusting offsets; replacing tooling.

5+ plus years CNC Experience (HASS preferred)Experience measuring tight tolerancesAbility to change programming as neededExperience with calipers and micrometersReliable transportation and lives no more than 30 minutes from shopClean background and can pass drug testAbility to work 7am-3 : 30pm M-FClient Environment
