Accounting Manager

LHH is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager role with a distribution client. This role will work directly with the CFO and Controller along with managing a team in accounting. This role will be hybrid in the Portland metro area. NO FULLY REMOTE people need to apply.

Overall Job Functions :

• Will oversee all of the GL and Accountants (4 total direct reports), run the monthly close process and hold team accountable to deliverables; teams are both based in Tigard and Salt Lake City, UT.
• Focus on process improvements and internal controls
• Create checklists and organization tools to help the team be more efficient including mentoring and good leadership
• Work on merging accounting functionalities and processes across multiple divisions
• Help to document the processes
• Will be involved some with the system upgrade and during future acquisitions
• Will be involved some with their inventory and freight accounting
• Work closely with the Controller on various projects as they come up

We are looking for (key requirements / preferences) :

Salary : $110K - $130K base DOE
