About The Position

Location : Staten Island, New York, USA Specialty : Radiology Technician Type : Travel Schedule : 5x8s Days / Evenings Time : 13 weeks

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a rewarding travel opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist in Staten Island, NY. This assignment consists of five 8-hour day and evening shifts per week, totaling 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Radiologic Technologist

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment in accordance with physician orders

Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and safety throughout each procedure

Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness

Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and guidelines

Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients during exams

Requirements

ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)

Active New York state license

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a radiology / imaging setting

BLS certification
