Overview
Training Specialist Requisition ID req34561. The University of New Mexico's Office for Community Health is hiring a Training Specialist to support the design, coordination, and expansion of Community Health Worker (CHW) program initiatives across New Mexico. This role focuses on operational planning and execution of training programs that build the CHW workforce, including recruitment of subject matter experts (SMEs), development of certification and Medicaid billing pathways, and delivery of professional development aligned with community needs. The Training Specialist ensures that CHW training efforts are strategically implemented, community-informed, and rooted in equity and sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications
Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
