About The Position

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Profession : Therapy / Rehabilitation

Hours per Shift : 08 : 00 - 16 : 00

Experience : Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required

License : Licensed PT in PA or Compact PT Licensure

Certifications : BLS, EPIC experience required

Must-Have : Medical / Religious exemptions for required vaccines allowed

Description :

Acute care experience is required.

Schedule requirements prefer 5 days per week for 8-hour shifts, but 4 ten-hour shifts can be accommodated if needed.

Candidates will be reviewed for clinical fit before moving forward with a manager interview.

The selected candidates will be expected to care for COVID patients as needed.

Tobacco and fragrance free facility policies are in place.

Travelers will need to work 2 of 3 major holidays if required.

Candidates must have experience with various patient diagnoses including general medicine, total joint replacements, post-surgery, cardiac procedures, vestibular issues, and post-stroke rehabilitation.

The facility manages a daily census of approximately 85 patients.

Special equipment available includes ceiling lifts in some rooms, as well as chair and bed alarms.

Candidates must be proficient in documentation and using the EPIC charting system.

Must be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Experience with various therapeutic interventions and equipment is essential.

Strong time management and patient / family education skills are necessary.
