As a Business Systems Analyst, you will support the testing and validation of systems and applications to ensure functionality, accuracy, and reliability across business processes. You’ll work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers and process owners to develop and execute test scripts, identify defects, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
What You’ll Do :
- Execute manual and automated test cases for ERP modules (e.g., Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire) and other business systems and applications.
- Validate system functionality against business requirements and process maps, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
- Document defects clearly and track them through resolution using tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira.
- Develop and maintain clear, step-by-step test scripts with expected outcomes and pass / fail criteria.
- Assist in preparing test data, including master data and transactional scenarios.
- Participate in test planning, execution, and coordination to ensure full testing coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure realistic and complete testing coverage.
- Support hardware readiness by validating device connectivity and integration (e.g., barcode scanners, label printers).
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA metrics reporting.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, active listening, and solution-oriented communication to support teamwork and trust across departments.
What You’ll Bring :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Basic understanding of ERP systems such as IFS and related business processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire).Familiarity with software testing principles, QA methodologies, and both manual and automated testing techniques.Experience with issue tracking and test management tools such as ADO or Jira.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.Effective communication and collaboration skills; approachable, adaptable, and eager to learn.What We Offer :
