Job Overview
Saronic Security is looking for a Software Security Engineer to design and develop the core
services, APIs, and automation that power our Security Platform Engineering (SPE) capabilities. You’ll build scalable software foundations for telemetry ingestion, alert delivery, and automated containment, while embedding security throughout our development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs for telemetry ingestion, normalization, and enrichment
- Develop and manage code-driven SOAR playbooks and end-to-end automated containment workflows
- Build scalable alert-delivery mechanisms that surface high-confidence events to SOC analysts
- Embed SOC feedback and threat intelligence into CI / CD pipelines
- Design , build , and own security telemetry data pipelines
- Apply secure-coding best practices, conduct threat modeling, and perform code reviews to enforce software security
- Extend detection-engineering frameworks and libraries to accelerate development, validation, and deployment of new detection content
- Contribute to the evolution of our security tooling and platform frameworks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on security engineeringProficiency in Python, Go, or Rust; experience building microservices and event-driven architecturesFamiliarity with SOAR frameworks, CI / CD tooling, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Solid understanding of secure-coding principles, threat modeling methodologies, and static / dynamic application security testing (SAST / DAST)Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to translate security requirements into reliable software solutionsBenefits
