  • Position

    • Work with Quality Engineering to administer company and customer related quality requirements.
    • Education /

    • A.S. degree in a mechanical or industrial engineering discipline
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Quality oriented role within a manufacturing environment (Certified to ISO, AS, or IATF preferred).
    • ASQ Certified Inspector or Auditor a plus
    • Solid communication skills, able to work effectively in cross functional teams.
    • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
    • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work well in team environment.
    • Can apply standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge
    • Exercise initiative, achievement and independent judgment.
    • High ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
    • Main tasks, duties, authorization limits and deputy

    • Ensure all quality standards for products are met prior to shipment to customer
    • Record and maintain inspection / test results in quality databases or logs
    • Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products
    • Assists in root cause investigation and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures.
    • Perform verification and effectiveness reviews of corrective actions
    • Employ 8D 5Whys and other Lean tools to enhance Quality and productivity. Participate in Lean activities including Kaizen events, 5S audits.
    • Participate in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure design, manufacturing and quality methodologies are effective, efficient, standardized and integrated
    • Perform APQPs and / or PPAPs compliant to AIAG and / or customer specific requirements
    • Perform AS9102 or equivalent FAIRs for customers
    • Support efforts to facilitate quality systems compliance and certifications.
    • Compiles and writes training material, SOP’s, and QC Criteria as required.
    • Conduct internal Quality system audits and be involved with CAPA projects.
    • Perform additional quality related tasks as required by Quality management
