Position description

The Chemical and Materials Engineering department in the School of Engineering anticipates hiring full and / or part-time lecturer positions to teach courses for Academic Year 2025-2026, including :

  • MSE 104 : Engineering Living Systems
  • MSE 113 : Materials Characterization
  • MSE 118 : Introduction to Nanotechnology and Nanoscience
  • MSE 152 : Materials Processing & Performance II : Materials Selection
  • MSE 162 : 3D Printing Research and Development
  • MSE 194 : Capstone Design
  • CHE 165 : Plastic Pollution
  • Other courses as needed

Responsibilities include creating a syllabus, holding weekly office hours (minimum 2 hours / week), grading examinations / papers, and possibly holding discussion sections or supervising graduate student teaching assistants or readers.
