Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with active CA license and scrub and circulate experience for a hospital surgical team.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Hospital-based Operating Room setting

Surgical cases include robotics, total joint, and spine procedures

Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts with variable start times (6 : 45 am, 9 : 00 am, 11 : 00 am)

Rotating weekend shifts are required

Travelers may float to other locations within the health system if census is low

Uses Epic EMR with Epic experience preferred

Responsible for direct and indirect patient care, assessment, plan development, and patient education

Expected to develop and implement interdisciplinary plans of care considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors

Team-oriented environment with collaborative relationships among staff and providers

Mandatory online modules to be completed during orientation via e-learning

Only one holiday time-off request will be approved

Candidates returning as travelers must have been away from the facility for at least one year

Local candidates accepted at a lower rate

\n \n Requirements\n

Active CA RN license required at time of consideration

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA

Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room RN experience required

Experience with both scrub and circulate roles required

Experience with robotics, total joint, and spine procedures required

Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing

All certifications must be AHA and valid at time of consideration

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
