Computer Operator (Rock Hill)

Job Title : Computer Operator

Location : Rock Hill, SC

Contract length : 4-month c2h

Compensation : 25-30 / hour - depending on experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years as a Computer Operator
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Job / Batch scheduling applications, preferably BMC Control-M
• Minimum of 1-3 years in a data center operations center and NOC environment
• Ability to work 1st Shift Wednesday-Saturday
• Ability to work some Holidays with OT pay

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Control-M, CA, CA 7 (batch tools)
• Understanding of Iron Mountain's vaulting system

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Computer Operator for a large retail client in the Rock Hill, SC area. The ideal resource will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Computer Operator. This resource will be responsible for the administration and oversight of the 24 / 7 batch processing schedule. This resource will maintain production job schedules in the BMC Control-M job scheduling system and identify failures using documented processes and troubleshoot or escalate accordingly.
