MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Alpena, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 20 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab (Days) Alpena, MI Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction Description This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography, interventional, angiographic cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of cath process, post-cath care, patient education. Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members of the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Performs nursing care of the catheterization / angiography patient. Operates equipment, i.e., cardiac output, hemodynamic, pacemakers / ICD’s, intraaortic balloon pump, etc. Transfers patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures. Scrubs in for procedures with the physician (not required, but preferred) Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets. Requirements This position is listed as Cath Lab, but the expectation is that they would also be helping to cover and provide nursing support to our IR procedures and pre / post procedure care. Cath Lab Experience - Required Interventional Radiology experience - Highly Preferred 1 Years of experience in Electrophysiology - Highly Preferred Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Highly Preferred Knowledge & operation of intraaortic balloon pump - Highly Preferred Certification Requirements ACLS Certification Requirements BLS State License Requirements Michigan Additional License Requirements Must be active!
