Overview

At Epic, our guiding principle is to make our products a joy to use. As a UX Designer, you will act as the lead experience and visual designer for several development teams, setting the direction for joyful design. You will meet with end-users to understand their needs, research workflows, and observe applications in use. You will collaborate with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with solid information architecture. Throughout the design process, you will present ideas with sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead experience and visual design for multiple development teams.
  • Engage with end-users to understand needs and workflows.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement intuitive information architecture and UI.
  • Create design deliverables across the design spectrum : sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

Requirements

  • A solid portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
  • Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
  • Bachelor\'s degree or greater
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (reimbursed)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
