Title : Renal / Med-Surg RN – Alachua, FL

Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent

Shifts : Days (7A–7P) or Nights (7P–7A), rotating weekends

Compensation : $30.69 – $43.20 / hr (based on experience)

Differentials : +$4.25 / hr (Nights) | +$3.00 / hr (Weekends)

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 (Days) | $25,000 (Nights)

Relocation : $2,500–$5,000 (100+ miles away)

Overview

We are seeking a Renal / Med-Surg RN to join our nursing team near Alachua, FL. This role offers the opportunity to provide care for renal and vascular patients in a high-volume, 45-bed unit with strong teamwork and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, evidence-based care for renal and medical-surgical patients.

Perform assessments, administer medications, and document care accurately.

Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and recovery plans.

Support patient safety and hospital quality improvement efforts.

Manage a 7 : 1 patient ratio while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Qualifications

Current RN license in Florida or Compact state.

At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN / Diploma required; BSN preferred).

BLS certification; NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months.
