About The Position

Job Title : Cath IR Radiologic Technologist

Profession : Radiologic Technologist

License : State Radiology Technologist License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Ability to scrub into procedures with Procedural Physician.
• Support intra-procedure workflows and operate imaging equipment.
• Familiarity with Cath / EP / IR supplies and equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety.

Description :

Responsible for performing cardiac catheterization procedures including coronary disease and STEMI patients.

Involved in peripheral catheterization procedures for peripheral artery disease, including AAA repairs.

Assist with electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants for arrhythmias.

Work collaboratively within the department alongside a manager, assistant manager, other radiology technologists, and nurses.

Utilize department-specific equipment including Philips Azurion imaging equipment and various monitoring devices.

Participate in a 6-week scheduling cycle with four 10-hour shifts per week, typically from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with varying days off.

On-call responsibilities include 1-2 nights per week and one weekend call per month.

Expected to maintain a professional and supportive department culture focused on building a cohesive team.

Dress code requires blue scrubs, provided by the hospital.
