Job Description

The Displays and Audio Hardware Engineer evaluates and selects display and operator-machine interface products for US Navy platforms. Responsibilities include market surveys, trade studies, test plan development, leading a cross‑functional working group, and maintaining video architectures that access multiple servers on operator consoles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market surveys to identify candidate products.
• Perform trade studies to down‑select candidates.
• Develop and execute test plans to confirm suitability.
• Lead a working group of functional groups, companies, and customer representatives.
• Develop and maintain video architectures for operator consoles.
• Share video feeds between operator consoles using networked audio / video / HMI sharing devices.

Salary

Annual base salary ranges based on location : $104,500 – $184,115 for most locations; $120,100 – $208,150 for major metropolitan areas. Salary determined by responsibilities, experience, and market factors.
