Iowa Cannabis Company in Iowa City, IA is currently seeking Cultivation Technicians to join our team at our state-of-the-art cannabis production facility. We currently operate three medical dispensaries in the state of Iowa, along with our medical cannabis manufacturing facility.

The Cultivation Supervisor is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the direct oversight of daily cultivation operations. This role is central to executing our workforce development strategy on the floor by providing immediate guidance, training, and support to the cultivation team. The Cultivation Supervisor leads the team through the daily tasks of the plant lifecycle, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This individual is responsible for executing the production schedule's daily and weekly plans, ensuring operational excellence, and providing the direct mentorship necessary to advance our technicians through their career pathway at ICC.

Key Responsibilities :

Daily Team Leadership & Training :

• Direct Supervision & Tasking : Provide constant leadership presence on the cultivation floor, assigning daily tasks and directly overseeing the team's work to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Hands-On Training & Mentorship : Serve as the primary hands-on trainer for all cultivation technicians. Provide direct coaching, support, and mentorship to guide employees through the C1-C4 developmental pathway, focusing on skills execution and SOP mastery.
• Performance & Scheduling : Conduct daily performance check-ins, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to formal performance reviews. Assist in managing the team schedule (TSV) to ensure proper staffing.
• Onboarding & SOP Enforcement : Lead the hands-on onboarding for all new C1 Technicians. Enforce strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), identifying and correcting deviations in real-time.
