About the Role
My client is seeking a hands-on Industrial Engineering Manager to drive process improvement, facility optimization, and throughput across both custom and standardized product lines. This leadership role blends Lean Six Sigma strategy with boots-on-the-ground execution and will be instrumental in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations.
Key Focus Areas
Lean & Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve throughput, labor efficiency, and flow
- Conduct value stream mapping and RCCA investigations
- Implement visual management systems and Gemba walk culture
Manufacturing Optimization
Increase productivity across both high-mix / low-flow (custom) and low-mix / high-flow (standardized) linesReduce labor hours and drive data-informed workflow improvementsFacility Layout & Capacity Planning
Redesign plant layout to support production scalabilityCollaborate on infrastructure-related capital investment projectsEnsure optimal use of space, safety, and workflowFacilities & Maintenance Oversight
Lead plant maintenance and preventive maintenance initiativesOversee EHS compliance, utilities, and infrastructure upgradesCross-functional Leadership

Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or related fieldLean Six Sigma Black Belt certified5+ years in high-mix manufacturing environmentsProven experience in layout design, facility management, and continuous improvementStrong command of RCCA, Gemba, and visual managementComfortable being on the floor and leading from the frontBonus Points
