About The Position

Position : Cardiac Electrophysiologist (Full-Time, Permanent)

Location : Detroit & Warren, Michigan

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 30 p.m. | Shared Call (2 : 1 ratio)

EMR : Cerner (transitioning to Epic in 2025–2026)

Position Highlights

Full-time, leadership-track role within a well-established and growing Heart Rhythm program

High-volume practice with strong built-in referral network and established patient base

Comprehensive procedural mix , including pacemaker / defibrillator implants and right- and left-sided ablations

Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with experienced EP cardiologists, APPs, and CV surgeons

Job Requirements

Provide both outpatient and inpatient Cardiac Electrophysiology services across two hospital campuses

Perform advanced EP procedures including device implants and ablations

Participate in inpatient rounding during call weeks; supported by an independent APP

Build and maintain a robust patient panel through internal referrals

Collaborate closely with cardiovascular and surgical specialists to deliver high-acuity care

Contribute to teaching and mentorship within a large residency and fellowship program

Board Certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology – Required

Completion of accredited Cardiology & Electrophysiology Fellowships – Required

2–3 years of post-fellowship experience – Preferred

Michigan Medical License (active or eligibility) – Required

BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA, and CSR / CDS – Required prior to start

Clean malpractice and licensure history – Required
