Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Healthcare Paralegal to join our legal team in Nashville. This role will serve as a generalist, supporting a wide range of legal functions across corporate, regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare law and will work closely with the General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and maintain corporate filings and minute books for multiple legal entities.
- Assist with entity formation, foreign qualifications, annual reports, and other corporate maintenance tasks.
- Track and assist with multi-state regulatory filings and licensing renewals.
- Support regulatory audits and examinations, including document preparation and deadline tracking.
- Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and assist in implementing compliance measures.
- Assist in the review, drafting, and organization of managed care contracts and provider agreements.
- Manage litigation records and legal hold notices, assist attorneys with discovery, subpoenas, and case management related to managed care disputes.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, compliance) to support legal initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, correspondence, and reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate required.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a healthcare or corporate legal setting.Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations (HIPAA, Medicare / Medicaid, ACA).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
