Job Description :

Budget Title : Cleaner

Grade : SG-5

Salary : $34,312 for full time and $17,156 for part time

Part-time and full time entry-level custodial positions on various shifts. A Cleaner performs a variety of routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort in cleaning and caring for an assigned area in buildings and adjacent grounds and sidewalks.

Employees may work many weekends and holidays and are subject to mandatory and voluntary overtime.

Shifts available :

• Full time, 11pm-7am (Weekend shifts may be necessary as well as Monday holidays with the exception of Christmas and New Year's Day should they fall on a Monday; pass days vary)
• Full time, 4am-12 : 30pm, Monday-Friday
• Full time, evenings, 5pm-1am, Monday-Friday
• Part-time, weekends, 1st shift : Saturday, Sunday & Monday (including Monday holidays with the exception of Christmas and New Year's Day should they fall on a Monday)
• Part-time, day shift, Monday - Friday 10am - 2 : 30pm (+ / - 30 min depending on building assignment)

Upon hire, a 52-week probationary period must be served.
