Job Description
Thrive on precision and high-volume casework? A small yet dynamic UD team needs your sharp legal eye.
Why This Role Powers Your Legal Career
We represent property owners, investors, HOAs, and landlords—never tenants—in a fast-moving, compartmentalized UD department with up to 1,000 active wrongful detainer matters. Our culture is “work hard, but don't take yourself too seriously.” Casual dress, friendly banter, high expectations. It's laid-back in vibe, tenacious in delivery.
Attention to detail is non-negotiable—a misstep can cost clients dearly. You'll oversee paralegals and associates, reviewing complaints, motions, filings, discovery, and law and motion preparation for compliance with California and Los Angeles eviction rules.
What You'll Do
Lead quality control across the UD practice—review pleadings, motions, discovery, filings
Ensure strict adherence to California and Los Angeles eviction procedures
Mentor associates and paralegals and uphold high legal standards
Occasionally interact with clients to clarify strategy and provide updates
Collaborate across litigation and property management departments for seamless caseflow
