About The Role :
Perform detailed mechanical and thermal stress analysis on complex, high-temperature components such as pressure vessels and reactor structures.
Use advanced FEA tools (ANSYS Mechanical or equivalent) to evaluate fatigue, creep, dynamic, and nonlinear performance.
Translate analysis findings into practical design improvements for performance, safety, and reliability.
Collaborate across mechanical materials, and systems teams to define loads, interfaces, and mechanical requirements.
Present results to internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to design reviews and technical documentation.
Mentor and support junior engineers on analysis methods, simulation workflows, and design best practices.
Experience below :
bachelor's degree in mechanical, Materials, or Nuclear Engineering (Master's or PhD a plus).
Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
5+ years of experience performing mechanical and thermal FEA in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
Hands-on expertise with ANSYS Mechanical or comparable analysis software.
Solid understanding of solid mechanics, fatigue, and material behavior at high temperatures.
Programming or scripting experience (Python, MATLAB, etc.) for simulation automation or data handling.
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
Experience with ASME or CSA pressure vessel and piping codes.
Background in non-metallic materials (graphite, ceramics) or radiation-affected materials.
Exposure to large-scale FEA, HPC environments, or custom material modeling.
