Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Savannah, GA 31405 (Georgia nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 12-week travel contract

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : January 5, 2026

Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1820 - $1950 per week

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit

Charting System : Meditech

L&D Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Active Georgia or compact state RN license (Savannah healthcare jobs)

Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certification

Experience circulating in the operating room (OR)

Valid driver's license required in profile

Not accepting first-time travel nurses

Must comply with 100-mile radius rule

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including interpreting fetal monitoring strips

Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care for mothers and newborns

Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using Meditech

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
