Security Officer

Full-time and part-time schedules available. Security Officers provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control. Pay transparency : $25.72 with an active secret clearance. $23.06 with no clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant
  • Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies
  • Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
  • Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain
  • Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies

Qualifications

  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Prefer to have a current Secret Clearance or higher
  • Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check
  • Successfully pass an employment physical
  • Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
  • Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
  • Be fully computer literate with computer hardware
  • Communicate effectively
  • Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses
  • 6 months or more of aerospace related security experience preferred
