Location : San Diego, CA
Schedule : 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday, 2 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm)
Duration : 6-Month Contract
Pay range : $19.00 - $21.50 / hour
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform pipetting and manual liquid handling to prepare reagents, samples, and formulations.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain liquid handling robots and other laboratory instruments to ensure reliable performance and consistent results.
- Conduct routine and specialized quality control tests to confirm product integrity and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory space, following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage the preparation, storage, and disposal of chemical materials in compliance with hazardous material regulations.
- Support team objectives by taking on additional tasks as required and adapting to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Requirements
Proven proficiency in laboratory techniques, including precise pipetting and solution preparation.Familiarity with computer systems for data entry, instrument control, and laboratory automation.Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team-focused environment.Prior experience with SOPs, GMP standards, and quality control processes preferred.
