Senior D365 Finance Consultant (3-Month Engagement)

Location : Dunwoody, GA

Duration : 3 Months (Contract / Consulting)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior D365 Finance Consultant to step in during the final phase of a major implementation. This consultant will bridge the gap between technical configuration and business operations, with a strong emphasis on financial modules and ensuring end-to-end process alignment. The assignment focuses on stabilizing the system, validating functionality, and preparing the business for steady-state operations.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of solutioning and functional alignment (approx. 70% of workload).
• Configure and fine-tune D365 Finance modules to meet business needs.
• Validate system behavior, review design decisions, and document requirements.
• Provide deep functional expertise across core financial areas : GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, and Budgeting.
• Drive test support across UAT, integration, and regression cycles, resolving issues as they arise.
• Partner with finance and operations stakeholders to optimize processes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Support user readiness through training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Assist with post–go-live stabilization and transition to business-as-usual.
