MRI Technician
Position Summary :
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities :
Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by referring physicians
Position patients correctly and ensure optimal image quality
Screen patients for MRI safety and complete required documentation
Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs
Adhere to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver timely results
Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues
Qualifications :
ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and MRI (MR) or registry-eligible
State licensure (if applicable)
Minimum [1–2] years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CPR / BLS certification
