Description :
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Nurse for our team.
The schedule is flexible with options including 7 AM - 3 PM, 8 AM - 4 PM, or 8 AM - 5 PM.
This role may require varied weekends.
Responsibilities include implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to quality assurance.
You will use guidelines, such as nursing regulations and facility practices, to ensure compliance.
The nurse will gather and analyze data through audits, interviews, and additional activities.
Monitoring compliance across all disciplines and departments is essential.
You will review monthly reports and develop performance improvement plans as needed.
Preparing and distributing reports that summarize quality assurance activities will be part of your duties.
Assisting supervisors and managers with corrective action plans is required.
You will monitor and report on the facility's plans for correcting deficiencies.
Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations is critical.
You will investigate incidents of non-compliance.
Collaboration with the Administrator on allegations of abuse, neglect, and mistreatment is required.
Your role includes coordinating facility preparation for surveys.
You will chair and coordinate internal committee meetings related to quality assurance and infection control.
Identifying training needs and developing educational programs for staff in quality assurance is essential.
Utilizing assessment and scheduling protocols to evaluate training quality is a responsibility.
Maintaining records to document training and compliance is required.
You will coordinate information provision for regulatory surveyors with the management team.
Conducting daily infection control surveillance rounds is part of the role.
Staying informed about current information from relevant sources is necessary.
Knowledge of various quality assurance principles and basic statistical techniques is required.
You should possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
The ability to analyze and interpret information and data is necessary.
You will work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
Developing and coordinating training programs that meet organizational needs is expected.
