Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel School Bus Technician to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and reliability of our school bus fleet. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel school buses, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and school administrators regarding vehicle performance and maintenance needs.
