Responsibilities Work in an outpatient surgery center with a 6-bed unit and an average daily census of 20 Serve a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics Perform on a variety of service lines including General, Dental, ENT, Cataracts, Orthopedics, Plastics, GYN, Pediatrics, Neuro, and Podiatry Utilize Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication dispensing Day shift schedule is 5x8 hours, 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM Call is required Expected to work every other weekend Floating to the main hospital is required Circulating nurses are not required to scrub Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first week Holiday coverage is required per assignment period rules Scrubs are provided No blocked scheduling allowed Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit Local candidates are accepted at the same rate Returning travelers ineligible at one location must complete a successful assignment outside Piedmont before returning to another Piedmont location First-time travelers are not accepted Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years recent operating room experience required Current BLS certification required Experience with outpatient surgery procedures including general, ENT, orthopedics, gynecology, and neuro surgeries Must provide two supervisory references from a manager or higher Must be fully compliant prior to start, with non-compliance potentially resulting in a two-week delay Travelers who have worked perm / PRN with Piedmont must be away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year to be eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627076.
