Description : Position :

Incoming psychiatrist will work, full time, primarily outpatient with some occasional local inpatient coverage. Psychiatrist will work with and supervise at least 2 mid-level (PMHNP) providers, and take call (phone) 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month. General psychiatrist, geriatric psychiatrist, and child psychiatrist preferred, all will be considered.

River Region Psychiatric Associates , is owned by our founder Dr. Chili. We are

proudly the fastest growing private practice in the southeastern United States.

RRPA manages inpatient psychiatry units and provides consult services to hospitals, operates

outpatient clinics, including a mental health urgent care and a specialty woman’s clinic. As part

of our mental health ecosystem, we employ psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric mental

health nurse practitioners, family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, licensed clinical social

workers, and licensed professional counselors. We also partner with community mental health

organizations, rural health organizations, correctional facilities, rehab facilities, and nursing

homes.

We have multiple locations in :

• AL (Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, Mobile)
• KY (Bowling Green / Louisville)
• MO (Columbia / Moberly)
• SC (Camden / Charleston, Myrtle Beach)
• TN (Nashville / Franklin / Jackson / East TN)

Position Summary

Requirements :

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine – Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and / or Neurology

Valid AL License or ability to acquire AL license with a current and unrestricted DEA registration

All final candidates will be background and drug screened.
