The University of Tennessee Knoxville's Office of Institutional Research and Strategic Analysis (IRSA) is looking for an individual who will support the unit's mission of providing accurate and timely data to inform decision-making on campus. IRSA is enhancing our research, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience creating Power BI dashboards and reports for organizations and conducting reporting & research projects in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications :

• Required Qualifications

Education and Experience : Masters degree in higher education, educational research, statistics, behavioral sciences, business, computer science, or related fields plus Three-Five years analytical / reporting experience; or Bachelors degree with Five-Seven years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

Ability to write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze datasets.

Expertise in using Power BI (and other Microsoft technologies) to create reporting solutions.

Ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience : Analytical / reporting experience in an institution of higher education strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

Proficiency in using statistical analysis software.

Knowledge of the field of institutional research a plus.
