Delivery Driver

StrawHat Logistics LLC, and Amazon Delivery Service Partner is seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage heavy lifting and loading / unloading tasks. If you enjoy driving and have a passion for providing exceptional service, we encourage you to apply.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload items efficiently, ensuring that all products are secured properly during transit.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
  • Navigate routes using GPS or maps while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Handle heavy lifting as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
  • Assist in moving items as required, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols is advantageous.
  • Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job effectively.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
