Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant for a contract-to-hire position in Tampa, FL. Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.Participate in internal and external audits.Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.Collaborate with other departments for accurate financial reporting.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Compensation & BenefitsAnnual salary range : $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.Contract to hire arrangement, with potential for full-time employment.Potential access to health, dental, and vision insurance upon conversion.Professional development and growth opportunities.LocationThis position is based in Tampa, FL.
