Assists in Pre-Op / Post-op Phone-calls.\n
Communicates with other health care team members to assure continuity of care in the ASC.\n
Credentialed to receive all patients in PACU including MACs, pediatric and adult generals after surgery.\n
Assesses, evaluates, and documents on the patient.\n
Monitors the patient continuously during their recovery phase.\n
Provides discharge instructions to the patient and their caregiver, verifying confirmation prior to discharge.\n
Incorporates a sense of wellness by allowing the patient's family to be reunited with them as soon as feasible and encouraging self-care by the patient.\n
Prepares for emergency situations by knowing the Policies and Procedures of the ASC.\n
Monitors that Universal Precautions are maintained.\n
Completes all necessary documentation on the Nursing Notes record and all patient records.\n

Compensation for this role will be \$42 - \$46 an hour based on experience / certification.
