Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring all food is prepared safely and efficiently during service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of station, equipment, and kitchen areas.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service.
Ensure food quality and consistency throughout each service.
Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and food handling guidelines.
Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking inventory, and rotating products.
Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members during busy service periods.
Support other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Proven cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Knowledge of kitchen equipment, techniques, and food safety practices.
Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
